hey guys, this is my first try at digital painting, i have been wanting to do this for a long time but never got around to it. i hope to learn. this was done entirely in Photoshop with a mouse (i think it shows).

the concept is pretty simple, a small bot lost out in the earthling territory finds his way home. he stands at the border and look at the bot city. the only obstacle now is to cross the deserted area which lays ahead of him. please see the enlarged image for some subtle detail painted in. the color scheme was much inspired by vintage ufo/alien posters and artwork.

i look forward for a lot of critique. and hope to employ it as i learn.
